“Smaller enterprises facing shrinking enterprise value: SME Study”

Kuala Lumpur, 18 July 2018 – Enterprises with lower than RM1m revenue tend to face greater challenges, evidenced by their shrinking sales, profitability, asset and shareholder value, according to a study that involves around 800 SMEs conducted by MyFinB. It basically means they need more guidance in CFO-related functions to deal with the specific issues faced by the enterprises. However, larger enterprises with RM1-5m and >5m turnover, exhibit greater improvements from 2016-17 and towards 1H2018.
